Tottenham v Fulham - Preview predictions for their English Premier League match at Wembley Stadium (London) on Saturday..

The 2nd round of the English Premier League offers a London Derby last played in 2014 as Tottenham Hotspur welcome Fulham to Wembley Stadium.

Tottenham v Fulham  predictions for Saturday’s English Premier League clash at Wembley Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur will play their home matches here until at least October after the completion of their new stadium was delayed - again.

Tottenham Hotspur come into this season under some pressure to break their ten-year trophy drought. Spurs got off to a winning start, but have struggled under Mauricio Pochettino in August, averaging just 1.5 points per match in his 4 years in charge (August).

Tottenham Hotspur have struggled a bit in London derbies, but last EPL season proved something of a turnaround, with ‘Spurs’ topping the London derby table (W6, D2, L2). Adding to Fulham’s worries, they also dealt effectively with the promoted teams last EPL season (W5, D1).

Fulham manager Slaviša Jokanovińá strengthened his team with several summer acquisitions; most notably record signing Jean Michael Seri and ex-Chelsea man André Schürrle - but nevertheless looked light in their 0-2 debut loss to Crystal Palace.

Not likely to be unsettled by a difficult start, Fulham looked unlikely to go up at mid-season last year. Fulham then went on a 23-match unbeaten run securing a play-off spot before losing on the last day of the season.

The indomitable Harry Kane has scored 139 EPL goals in the last 4 seasons, but has yet to score in August in 14 matches! Meanwhile, Schürrle will try to emulate his performances from his first (2013/14) EPL season (8 goals/30 appearances).

Despite some stadium-woes, Tottenham Hotspur have been a strong home team the last 3 EPL seasons (W40, D12, L5).

Fulham were the 2nd best away team in the Championship last year (W12, D5, L6) and they scored the most goals of all (39 - 1.7 on average per match).
